About Us
The Village Market is a local monthly newspaper providing a real news service to rural communities.
We currently produce two editions.
The first covers the villages lying between Lichfield and Tamworth, namely Whittington, Fisherwick, Elford, Hopwas, Hints, Weeford, Packington and Swinfen, plus the Boley Park area of Lichfield.
The second covers the villages just north of Lichfield – Fradley, Alrewas, Kings Bromley, Elmhurst, Curborough and Streethay.
Each edition has a circulation of around 4,000 copies.
Distribution is door-to-door with multiple copies being supplied to pubs, shops, social clubs and golf courses in our area. Several of the villages receive no other newspaper or advertising booklet through their doors.
